We’re all having to resort to different techniques to get normal things done in lockdown. Due to coronavirus closures, many people with pets have been unable to get their nails or claws clipped at the vets – so have been faced with the challenge themselves.
Since posting a video to her TikTok account of her at-home dog nail “hack,” Linda has been called a genius by dog lovers from all over the world.
At the start of the video, Linda promises to show everyone how to clip dog nails at home. Most dog owners know this task isn’t the easiest to accomplish, especially if the dog isn’t cooperating.
It’s no problem for Linda, however, as she wraps her head with plastic wrap and smears some peanut butter on it. It might sound silly and outrageous, but Linda’s trick enables her to cut the dog’s nails.
While smearing the peanut butter on the wrap, she says aloud, “This peanut butter does not have Xylitol before you all freak out.”
A few moments later, Linds can be seen sitting in front of her dog encouraging him to lick the peanut butter off as she faces down to cut his nails.
She is a genius, Shelton admits this is the first time she tried this technique, as you can see in the video below.
