We all love our dogs and want to spend as much time with them as possible. There is nothing better than spending a day at the beach or at the dog park with your dog. But how about a fancy dinner at a restaurant? While this is usually a place he would take his partner to, one man decided to take his beloved pet for a night on the town.
The adorable scene was shared by TikTok user Gemma Colón, who saw the man and his well-behaved dog at a New York City restaurant, calling it “the purest friendship I have ever known.” Gemma was not only surprised by the man’s decision to take her dog on a date night, but also how well the dog behaved at the restaurant.
“It was really amazing how well the puppy behaved,” he told. “I’ve seen better table manners in this dog than some people.”
She says the man drank red wine while the dog “politely sipped” a bowl of water.
While most restaurants do not allow dogs, this restaurant had an outdoor dining room so that the man could have a good meal without leaving his dog at home. Gemma says the staff seemed to appreciate the couple and a waitress noticed how well the dog was behaving.
