Meet Kylo, a dog that is so happy to have been saved from a shelter that he immediately tries to embrace and cuddle his human mother as soon as she enters their house.
Kylo’s new owner Meghan Sweers told The Dodo, “He crawls onto my lap to be cuddled as soon as I sit down to take off my shoes.”
He follows me around with the saddest, most forlorn expression on his face if I don’t sit down for our snuggle time until I give in and embrace him.
Kylo’s new mother, Meghan Sweers, told The Dodo, “We spotted his image on Facebook and contacted out.”
It only took us a long to discover him, but I think he was always intended to be with us.
Sweers decided to give Kylo a trial night to see whether he and Nellie would get along since Sweers and her husband already owned another dog, a little corgi named Nellie.
Kylo was driven four hours to his prospective family’s house by a volunteer from the rescue, and they knew it was meant to be the instant he arrived.
He climbed into my lap, nestled his head under my chin, and started snoring like a chainsaw, Sweers recalled.
“From that point on, my husband and I knew he was staying with us!”
The only problem Kylo had was with the wooden floors, which his family fixed by putting some rugs down to help the dog feel more at home. Kylo instantly fell in love with his new family.
Sweers said, “He gets about the home by hopping from rug to rug.
Kylo’s only desire is to be liked.
He always gives his mum a hug and kiss before bed.
Without a doubt, he is Mom’s boy.
He waits outside the door every night for his cherished mother to come home.
As soon as I sit down to take off my shoes, “he comes onto my lap to be hugged,” Sweers said. He follows me around with the saddest, most forlorn expression on his face if I don’t sit down for our snuggle time until I give in and embrace him.
Many of our family members who had strong prejudices against bully breeds have altered their minds after spending time with him, according to Sweers.
He charms people by falling asleep on their laps.
