Stray Pitbull Guards Lost Toddler Until He Gets Reunited With His Worried Father

A brave stray dog has been caring for a missing infant boy and presumably saving his life after he wandered away from home on the streets of a St. Louis neighborhood. Thanks to a really friendly neighbor, the toddler was eventually reunited with his worried father.

Kh’amorion Taylor managed to sneak out of the house while his father was not looking, wearing only his pajamas and no shoes. Fortunately, the toddler was discovered later that morning by a neighbor. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, saw Taylor wandering shoeless on the streets, but he wasn’t alone, he was accompanied by a large dog. The worried mother recognized the child was maybe lost and ran to assist.

“He looked well taken care of, he was very neat, very clean, he just didn’t have the shoes on,” the woman later told FOX2. “I knocked on doors all the way down the street. Knocked on the doors, no one answered; no one who did answer recognized the child.”

The mom anxiously attempted, but failed, to locate the missing toddler’s family. Meanwhile, she uploaded a post and a photo of him on social media, which paid off. The father discovered his son on social media, and the two were reunited later that day, due to this kind person.

“It is important that we stick together, that we help each other, that we go back to the things that our grandparents and their community used to do,” she remarked. “That we build a sense of unity.” When Taylor was reunited with his father, he kept saying the word “puppy.” While he was alone on the streets, he was guarded by a stray pit bull.
