A little girl named Scarlett has found the secret to a good night’s sleep: her 99-pound rescue pit bull. Lebowski, a puppy that the Geiger family adopted from Priceless Pet Rescue four years ago, immediately struck up a connection with Scarlett. According to Scarlett’s mother, Jennifer Geiger, “Lebowski and Scarlett first met when she was four and he was ten weeks.” She admired her pet and was utterly enamored with his gorgeous features. They appeared to like each other immediately away, in my opinion.
Lebowski started emulating his elder sister’s behavior and began to follow her everywhere. She gave the dog a makeover, invited her to tea parties, and observed how she did her schoolwork.
Napping was the Lebowskis’ favorite joint pastime. Lebowski has been curled up next to Scar to slumber since since we brought him home, Geiger continued. They frequently fall asleep next to each other on the couch. When Lebowski was about eight months old, he started to disappear at night. There were times when Geiger would awaken in the middle of the night and be unable to locate him. Lebowski was finally found “like a monster” lying beneath Scarlett’s bed by Geiger.
Then, when Geiger went into Scarlett’s chamber one night, he saw Lebowski snoozing next to her. He settled in at her side and hasn’t stopped since, according to Geiger. Years later, Scarlett and Lebowski are still sleeping in her twin bed. Geiger said on Instagram, “Wherever they sleep in this house, it’s always together and that’s all that matters to them.
All that is left is for Lebowski to find his way to Scarlett’s room, providing she isn’t at a sleepover. Geiger secretly filmed their tender hugs. He runs up to Scar and cuddles up when we say, “Go to bed,” Geiger said. It’s the cutest thing ever.
She said, “He keeps a close eye on his sweetheart and mopes about when they aren’t together. “We feel ourselves lucky to be able to observe their affection as they develop and experience life together. Their friendship is extremely remarkable.”
