Orphan Foals Are Introduced To New Adopting Horses

Posted on January 22, 2022 by senad

A very sad moment in the horse world is when a small foal is left without having a mare to feed them, or someone to take care of them. In many cases, if not most of the time, this is caused by humans. Take the foster foal as an example.

These foals come back to life simply because their mother has to feed the more expensive and at the same time more profitable horses. And their future is uncertain. But let’s leave it here and focus on the fact that rejected or futureless foals are part of the harsh reality of the modern horse world.

It’s beautiful, but the fact that the horse world also has a dark side cannot be ignored. Our job as an animal rights activist is to take some steps to improve it. Now let’s focus on the next video. A lot of things are happening in this video! Willow, the dun mare at the beginning is surprised by seeing foals. She hasn’t been around the babies since she was 1 year old, so she can convey her curiosity and little worry / fear in her body language.

She was ready to run. You can see that Jackie, the next mare in the video, has two foals and is excited and intrigued. She had her own foal and was grazing with her other mares and foals. The foal itself is interesting to see. They look at everything with interest and are not particularly attracted to other horses. They record everything.

As you can see in the video below, all mares are confused about their new arrival at the stables, while orphans are also confused, and they don’t know that their lives will soon improve, many Spend very long and very different time with their new family, if not forever, take care of them. Watch the video below and tell us what you think of these beautiful and emotional moments.
