The 84-year-old veteran was in great trouble after accidentally falling while taking a shower. After the catastrophe, the old man got stuck and things got worse when he was at home alone. Or so he thought. But, like a miracle, his loyal cat managed to save his life!
Ron Williams of Sturgis, Michigan, met a lovely cat, Fluffy, a few years ago when an old friend introduced her. It was love at first sight, and military veterans soon decided to adopt a homeless cat. Ron lived alone, so he soon became very attached to his furry companions.
“I saw him, and hey, I just fell in love with him,” Ron explained.
The man took care of the cat like his own child and talked to him often. But most of the time, he said repeatedly every time the phone rang.
“The phone rang and I said’ring’,” Ron said. “And I didn’t know he was trying to pick it up.” But he didn’t know that this sentence would save his life someday!
When something terrible happened, it was a normal morning for Ron and Fluffy. An 84-year-old man had just taken off the shower when he slid on a wet floor and stayed there for about 16 hours. His phone was in the bathroom, but it was too far to reach, his life alert was in his bedroom, and the unhappy man was crying in pain and couldn’t ask for help.
Eventually, the worried cat realized something was wrong, so he finally understood what Ron wanted from him and brought him a phone!
“So I said fluffy “ring a ding”, you’re my only hope,” the man explained in tears. ” It was less than five minutes before I felt something hit me, it was a phone, and that’s why I’m here.”
After fluffy brought him a cell phone, Ron was able to call 911 and help came within minutes. An old veteran recognizes his cat’s achievements in saving his life. “What if he wasn’t with me? I would be gone today,” he said. “He is my hero and he will always be.”
