We’ll show you a touching reunion between a man and his long-lost huskies in today’s story. Sandy Hernandez began looking for his two huskies everywhere when he couldn’t find them. By jumping the fence, the two puppies had gotten away from his Miami, Florida property.
As soon as he discovered the dogs were missing, he began posting flyers and searching shelters. He had no idea where they were or where they were going, so he had no choice but to search the area.
Before fate intervened, the dogs had been missing for several days. After receiving word that the dogs had been taken to the shelter, Hernandez decided to pay a visit. Outside the shelter, his two huskies were posing for a photo shoot!
Ocean Drive Magazine was doing a photoshoot at a local shelter a few days after Hernandez lost the dogs. The photo shoot was intended to raise adoption awareness and bring attention to the dogs in the city’s shelters.
When Hernandez pulled up, the two stunning stars, a.k.a. the missing huskies, were having their photos taken to aid in their adoption. The photographer thought they’d look great on a website or magazine cover because of their lovely fur and bright blue eyes.
A volunteer was holding the dogs and the photographer was filming the shoot when Hernandez arrived. His two puppies seemed to be in their own little world, soaking up all of the attention and enjoying the moment.
When a car drove up in front of the camera, the crew was told, “Those are my dogs!” He didn’t even park his car, instead sprinting to his dogs and burying his face in their fur, overcome with sadness, as if it were a scene from a heartbreaking movie.
Sandy’s dogs were overjoyed to see him, and the team was overjoyed that Sandy was reunited with his dogs. He even showed them flyers he’d been handing out all over Miami. The happy family returned home to celebrate their happy reunion.
