In an absolutely charming scene, a lioness is reunited with the man who raised her as a cub. When she notices her old friend in her compound, the cat rushes to greet him with a big hug. Excited to see the man who took care of her when she was little, the lioness fights with him on the ground and fills him with love and affection. The beautiful moment was captured on camera and it is simply heartwarming!
Kiara, named for the famous figure of the Lion King, had been orphaned since she was only a few weeks old. But luckily, she was saved by a kind-hearted man named Adolfo. The man took care of the defenseless lion and bottle-fed her until she became an adult cat. The lioness was later accepted into the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Mexico City that specializes in rescues of big cats.
Kiara has been transferred to this rehab center for expert care and receives an unexpected visit. Her former caretaker missed her, so he went to see how she handled it. But he never thought it would be welcome. When Kiara saw Adolfo, she turned to him and jumped into his arms. The strong cat pushed her old human friend to the ground as she hugged him deliciously.
See the cute reunion here!
The Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation was founded in 2013 by Mexican nature lover Eduardo Serio, has rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of wild big cats. Most of them, including lions, jaguars, pumas, tigers and leopards, were rescued from captivity.
