Instead Of Asking For Christmas Toys,8-year-old Girl Gives 600 Pounds Of Food For The Animal Shelter

One of Santa’s cutest helpers has given many dogs and cats a very special Christmas this year. Landin Wadsworth, 8 years old, provided essentials for a Merry Christmas to dogs and cats at the TriCities Animal Shelter in Paso, WA.

She started a fundraising campaign to ask for money in lieu of toys and buy dog and cat food and other items. She was able to earn enough money to feed a huge amount of food on her Christmas Eve. Stack is taller than Santa, so he must have been delighted. She also brought a large Christmas sack full of animal supplies.

The following is from the TriCities Shelter Facebook page. “Donating food for shelter was Lendin’s Christmas wish and it looks like her wish has come true!! We appreciate your generosity and we are sure dogs and cats will too!!

Randin has collected her orphanage gifts for the third year in a row. According to KEPR, it all started after her mother Alisha visited the shelter in 2016 and it was a pity that so many animals were homeless at Christmas. Landin is an extraordinary young woman with a big heart. She has already started saving for next year.

Share her touching story with family and friends. A better option is to contact your local shelter to find out how you can get help.
