Some people believe that wild animals are incapable of feeling gratitude toward someone who has helped them out of a difficult situation, but videos like the one you’re about to watch demonstrate the opposite.
A veterinarian from Four Paws noticed a wild horse chained in the middle of a Romani field, and that was when everything began. The horse, unable to roam freely, appeared clearly depressed. It appeared as though it had given up on life and was simply awaiting the end of everything.
The veterinarian made the choice to reclaim the wild horse’s freedom and independence after learning that it is not only wrong but also illegal to chain a wild horse. Although the man’s deeds are heartfelt, the horse’s reaction to them is what this video is most notable for.
The horse’s reaction to the man releasing him from the chains that had irritated its skin and kept it imprisoned in one place is so powerful that it will almost certainly bring tears to your eyes.
The horse in the video below was fortunate, but there are many other Danube delta horses who are in the same situation and do not have the same luck.
