Meet Lilica, a stray dog abandoned outside the junkyard in one of SoPaulo’s slums. Many homeless people and animals, such as dogs, cats and chickens, live here and all are doing their best to unite in poverty and help each other. Despite being a stray dog, Lyrica is a glorious example of love and charity.
Becoming a homeless dog has never been easier, but she always tries to keep feeding her children and friends.
Every night she walks four miles on a dark and dangerous street to the home of animal lover Lucia Helena de Souza. After that, she returns to the junkyard to support the rest of the “family” who are truly grateful, including dogs, cats, numerous chickens, and mules. Lucia, an animal lover, first met Lyrica three years ago when she was looking for food near her house.
Lucia fed her dog, and she returned every night for her ration. They established a regular ritual in which Lucia cooked her extra pieces for Lyrica and met at 9 pm. To enjoy a hug, cuddle, and a hot dinner.
One night she noticed that Lyrica was watching instead of eating a bag of food. After Lucia closed the plastic bag, Lyrica took it and left as usual. Lucia chased the dog and learned great things. She shared food with her family even when Lyrica was hungry.
The dog has been doing this for three years and will return every night to feed other animals after adoption. All she cares about is that no one is hungry.
What a wonderful story! Give Lyrica a standing ovation with her wonderful heart and all animal lovers like Professor Lucia Helena who nourished and cared for her.
