Courageous Boy Leaves His Pit Bull Puppy Outside Shelter With Heartbreaking Scrap

In the name of his love for his pet dog, this boy abandoned him, just to make sure he was safe. The brave boy left an emotional handwritten letter explaining his heavy decision!

The puppy, a few weeks old, was left outside a shelter by 12-year-old in Michoacan City, Mexico. When Refugio Xollin employees arrived at the shelter in the morning, they were surprised to discover a box with a puppy inside and a stuffed animal next to it. Not knowing who might have left him there, they brought the adorable puppy inside. But they soon learned the reason for the incident.

The cute little pit bull is owned by a boy named Andres. However, he is determined to abandon his beloved furry companion and explains his harsh decision in his heartbreaking letter. Andres’ father was very aggressive and decided to leave him at the shelter to protect his puppy from his father’s bad behavior.

So Andres hoped that the innocent soul would eventually find a loving family that would adopt him and take care of him in the way he deserved. Everyone in the shelter cried at the boy’s strong words. Also, they decided to share their inspirational story on Facebook.

“Someone left this dog in a box with plush toys and note at the door of the shelter,” Refugio Xollin wrote on Facebook. “The note from the child explained that the father always planned to beat and sell the dog. So, in this desperate situation, I left the dog here to rescued him.”

Andres’ incredible devotion didn’t go unnoticed and after reading his sad letter, the shelter did everything possible to find Rene’s eternal home and beloved family – so they named the dog.

“My name is Andres and I am 12 years old,” the note was originally written in Spanish. “My mom and me decided to put my dog in your hands, hide it from my dad because he is thinking about selling him. But he mistreats him and kicks him. One day he kicked him so hard that he injured his tail. Please help and take care of him. I left him a stuffed animal so he wouldn’t forget me.”

René will be sheltered with a good family until someone adopts him. However, based on the large number of requests received by the shelter during the first few days, it won’t be long before she meets her new parents. More than 300 adoption applications were completed in the first days since the story was shared online.
