Brave firefighters may have just reached the point of exhaustion, as devastating forest fires are rampant throughout California. But they always find the power and morality to resume the next day. It’s thanks to the great support and gratitude they receive from everyone. Includes a very special therapy dog.
Keris is a 2-year-old golden retriever, and apparently her job is to comfort people and smile on their faces. In the midst of a California wildfire, Kelis focuses on boosting the morale of firefighters. Beloved dog spreads love and optimism among those who endanger their lives to save others, the firefighters.
Kerita’s owner Heidi Carmen told CNN: “Kerit is a special dog that is shared and loved by everyone she meets and her loved ones are firefighters.” “At the morning crew briefing, she boosts morale. Kerit brings a sense of playfulness to others, even though she knows the day’s in work will be difficult.”
The affectionate Golden Retriever was originally trained as a guide dog for the disabled, but Kerrit’s energetic spirit didn’t put it to the test. This is when Carmen and her family adopted the dog. However, Kerit later became a certified treatment dog and her job is to calm first aid providers. And her love is greatly appreciated.
“Kerit has an amazing ability to make me feel like the most important person in the world,” said one firefighter, Carmen said. “Another firefighter at the Marina Center said, ‘It was the best base camp because Kerit was there.” Now Kerit is cheering for California wildfire firefighters and she’s doing a great job!
