During the pandemic, social distancing and travel regulations separated families and prevented countless people from seeing their loved ones in person. A year later, a man was afraid that his old friend would not recognize him after so long-but he got a wonderful reunion that has now spread. Five years ago, comedian and public speaker Hayden Kristal brought back a deaf and blind puppy Bitsy. Despite her disability, Bitsy quickly adapted to her new home and became a beloved part of the family. “Bitsy is the cutest, kindest, caring, and loyal dog in the world,” Hayden told Dodo. “She is brave, cheeky, and adventurous!” She even won Hayden’s father Steve Christo, who quickly got used to the dog and spoiled her with toys. “He is her biggest fan and her greatest champion,” Hayden said.
Unfortunately, Hayden and her father were separated last year due to coronavirus restrictions-which also means that he cannot see his favorite dog. Fortunately, they have all been able to get together recently-but Steve is worried that things have changed. Hayden wrote on TikTok: “My father is very worried… Bitsy won’t recognize him after being quarantined for a year.”
But when Bitsy reunited with her old friend, all her worries quickly disappeared. She quickly ran to Steve and licked Steve, who was obviously very passionate. The dog still recognized him: “As soon as I entered the smell range, she was so happy,” Steve wrote on Facebook. . “I did the same.” Hayden shared this video on TikTok and other social media sites, and it made people excited when it went viral. But no one is happier than Steve. He said that this touching reunion proved the dog’s cleverness. “Bitsy proved once again that her skills are more impressive than those she lacks,” he wrote. “What an amazing and wonderful soul.”
