Saving a pair of beluga whales required a lot of effort, kindness, and most importantly, dedication. After nearly a decade of imprisonment, Little Gray and Little White finally had the chance to live a free life. The moment you realize that the two adorable creatures are about to enjoy their freedom, it’s beautiful to see and the smiles on their faces speak for themselves.
The two beluga whales have appeared in animal shows for over nine years. Unfortunately, they were still young and had a hard life. They were taken from a Russian research center to Ocean World in Shanghai, China in 2011 and have been in captivity ever since.
Now, years later, these two adorable creatures have finally had the opportunity to enjoy their freedom. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the British animal welfare organization Sea Life Trust, our dreams have come true. However, in the near future, no two beluga whales will be released into the ocean. First, travel 6,000 miles to Iceland, the world’s first beluga whale sanctuary.
“It’s just because Little Gray and Little White are safe in their sea shelters and released to their larger open water homes,” said Andy Bourg, head of the Sea Life Trust, in a statement. I’m very excited to be one step away. ” “After a major plan and rehearsal, the first phase of her liberation into the sea went as smoothly as we expected and planned. We are watching Little Gray and Little White carefully. . ”
