Love between mothers and children is the most powerful force on earth. Animals, like humans, are also attached to babies. Regardless of the species, the unique bond between the mother and her little child is always special. And the painful footage below shows that!
Koalas are from Australia and are fairly antisocial animals. Therefore, the only bond is between the baby and its mother. But the connection is very special. Fortunately, staff at Symbio Wildlife Park in Helensburgh, Australia, were able to capture the delicate moment when a newborn koala for the first time met its mother on the camera.
A heartwarming moment shows a tiny little Joey gently snuggling up into a mummy’s bag. But at the same time, the cute creature turns its head and sees its mother for the first time. The next moment is overwhelming when the koala mom and baby look into each other’s eyes. You both look very happy !!!
“Koalas are Australia’s” most iconic species, “” said the official website of the Worldwide Fund. “With a chunky tailless body, a large head with round, fluffy ears, and a large spoon-shaped nose, they are quickly recognized as a symbol of Australia.”
But things don’t look very good to these cute mammals. According to the Australian Koala Foundation, that number has declined dramatically in recent years and is now less than 80,000 in the wild. This makes them “functionally extinct” Art.
