Dogs are cool and intelligent animals. Whenever they feel danger, they always act to save the day … even when we don’t really need them. Here’s what some actors recently learned when they put on a performance that was too real and a dog stepped in to steal the show.
Recently, an actor named Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy was in an open-air theater production in Turkey and had to pretend he was injured in one scene. “The character I played was injured and in a lot of pain,” he told The Dodo. “He fell off his horse and was breathing hard.” But his performance apparently was very convincing, because at least one member of the audience thought it was real: a street dog! Apparently unfamiliar with the theater, the dog seemed to believe that Numan was really hurt and ran to see how he was doing. When the dog licked the actor’s face, the actors couldn’t help but “break.” “I was very happy when I felt the kisses of the dog,” Numan said. “I was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it. ” The audience reportedly loved the moment, and the actors were touched by the dog’s kindness.
A team member escorted the dog off stage so the play could continue, and the stray apparently was walking away again. Turkey is known for its kindness to stray animals and it seems stray dogs will return the favor by helping people in need.
Meanwhile, Numan says that he will try to help the dog if he can find it. “The next day I went to the same place and looked for him. People told me that he usually hangs around. I was there again today, ”Numan told . I will search for it until I find it. I’ve always loved animals. ”
