Sharks may be sociable, adorable, and wonderful companions. The Port Jackson shark in this tale serves as an example of this. The big fish comes up with a means to show her affection for her human friend. When she notices him diving nearby, she swims over to him and requests a cuddle.
The shark is accompanied by Australian diver Nick Anderson. Seven years ago, when the shark was still a pup, the two first met. The man opted to speak to the animal in a calm tone while gently patting her shoulder.
I moved cautiously toward her so as not to shock her, and I started gently petting her. He told The Dodo, “Once she became acclimated to me, I’d hold her in my hand and whisper reassuringly to her through my regulator.”
Since then, Nick and the wonderful marine monster have become particularly close. He even gave his shark friend a name, and he is able to identify her by her markings.
Until we see these pictures, many of us won’t believe in this beautiful bond. Sharks and people may live side by side in harmony. It is priceless and pure. Nick’s shark friend approaches him and begs for a touch and a cuddle every time he goes diving. Over the past seven years, this greeting hasn’t changed. The narrator claims, “I don’t feed her or the other sharks.”
She became accustomed to me and will approach me in the water, tapping on my legs, until I reach out my arms and give her a hug as I pass. Rick made his opinion known.
