In This One-Of-A-Kind Zoo, Humans Are Imprisoned In Cages While Animals Roam Free
As an animal lover, I must say that I strongly oppose zoos. And, while there is still a long way to go before humans grasp that all wild creatures must be allowed to roam freely, this location appears to have found the perfect solution. The Chinese Lehe Ledu Wildlife Zoo turns the tables on tourists. The animals are allowed to wander while the humans who wish to observe them are imprisoned.
If you enjoy getting near to animals but cringe at the prospect of an animal living in a tight, man-made enclosure, you should definitely visit this one-of-a-kind location. According to The Daily Mail, the one-of-a-kind zoo recognizes that people have encroached on animals’ natural habitats and should therefore pay them a visit – but in a safe, secure vehicle.
The Lehe Ledu Zoo provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for visitors to get up close and personal with lions and tigers. And because the guests are in secure cars, you may approach as close to those massive beasts as possible without risk. Tourists are also permitted to feed the animals. However, only under the supervision of the zoo’s professionals and with specific food.
Some critics maintain that feeding the felines by tourists is neither safe nor optimal. Visitors, however, are aware of the dangers, according to zoo spokesperson Chan Llang, and have been advised “to keep their fingers and hands inside the cage at all times because a hungry tiger wouldn’t know the difference between them and breakfast.”
“We wanted to give our visitors the thrill of being stalked and attacked by big cats, but without the risks,” Llang explained. It has been sold out for three months since it first opened its doors in 2015. Despite the risk, it appears that people prefer to see wild creatures in their natural habitat! Take a look at this:
