Woman was in Brookhaven, Mississippi, when she witnessed something terrible. A truck threw a blanket and television on the side of the road, and in place of the wrapper was a small puppy that looked terrified and hungry.
She immediately went to the puppy and called the Animal Control for help. Sharon Norton, an animal control officer in Brookhaven who arrived at the scene, tore up photos of the puppy and posted them on Facebook.
“To the person that dumped this chair, your puppy was waiting for you to come back, slowly starving to death because it was afraid to leave the chair to find food,” she wrote in the caption. “Shame on you for doing this to this puppy.. but one day Karma will meet up with you.”
The puppy was taken to the shelter where he was fed, groomed, and vetted. He will soon be available for adoption and is relieved to get a second chance at life.
Anyone has any information on the person who threw this poor puppy in the Gaston Trail in Brookhaven, please contact Brookhaven Animal Control or the local police department.
